preceding concerts.
Founded in 2007, the group comprises six professional singers who bring a wealth of experience from the worlds of church, concert hall and popular music. Championing works from old renaissance masters to the works of new, exciting, young composers (several of The Songmen arrange and write original material for the group) their dedication and commitment to perfect tonal blend, colour and precise intonation remains evident in whatever they are doing.
Recent highlights have included the release of their début CD All for One, a successful tour of the London area, gala concerts in Pershore abbey and Tewkesbury Methodist Chapel, Candlelight Vespers in Tewkesbury Abbey and an invitation to study with the King's Singers in Germany which culminated in a sell-out performance at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lübeck.
